At Blue Ox Printing, we take pride in providing high-quality blueprint prints. Due to the custom nature of our printing services, all sales are generally final. However, we stand firmly behind the quality of our work and offer the following policies to ensure your satisfaction:
Quality Promise
If you're not completely satisfied with the quality of your blueprint prints due to an error on our part, we'll reprint your order at no additional cost or provide a full refund.
Situations Eligible for Returns or Refunds
We accept returns and provide refunds or reprints in the following situations:
Printing Errors
If your blueprints have quality defects that are attributable to our printing process, such as:
- Smudged or unclear printing
- Missing content or pages
- Incorrect scaling
- Paper defects
- Incorrect folding or trimming
Processing Errors
If we made an error in processing your order, such as:
- Incorrect paper size
- Wrong print type (color vs. black & white)
- Incorrect quantity
- Printing from incorrect files
Shipping Damage
If your blueprints arrive damaged due to shipping issues:
- Physical damage to prints during transit
- Water or environmental damage
- Missing items from your order
Non-Eligible Situations
Refunds are not available for:
- Errors in the files you submitted (incorrect dimensions, content, etc.)
- Mistakes in your order specifications (paper size, quantity, etc.)
- Changes to project requirements after order placement
- Cancellations after printing has begun
Return & Refund Process
If you experience an issue with your order, please follow these steps:

Contact Us Promptly
Notify us within 5 business days of receiving your order. You can contact us by:

Document the Issue
Take clear photos of:
- The packaging if damaged during shipping
- The defective prints showing the issues
- The entire order to show any missing items
Do not discard packaging or prints until the issue is resolved.

Provide Order Details
Include the following information in your communication:
- Order number
- Date of order
- Description of the issue
- Photos documenting the problem
- Your preferred resolution (reprint or refund)

Resolution
Our customer service team will review your claim and respond within 1-2 business days. If your claim is approved, we will:
- Process a reprint immediately and ship via expedited shipping at no cost to you, OR
- Issue a full refund to your original payment method, which may take 3-5 business days to process
Order Cancellations
You may cancel an order under the following conditions:
- Before Production: Orders can be cancelled for a full refund if production has not yet begun.
- During Production: Once printing has started, cancellation is subject to a partial refund (materials and work completed will be deducted).
- After Shipping: Orders that have shipped cannot be cancelled.
To cancel an order, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number.
Reprint Policy
For quality issues, we offer a reprint option:
- Reprints will be processed with priority status
- We'll ship the reprinted items via expedited shipping at no additional cost
- You may be asked to return the defective prints (we'll provide a prepaid shipping label)
Refund Timing
When a refund is issued:
- Credit card refunds typically appear in your account within 3-5 business days
- PayPal refunds are usually processed within 1-2 business days
- Company account credits are applied immediately to your account
